Today is the last day to place your order for our Women’s Retreat Soup Fundraiser.
We’re offering homemade Chicken Noodle, Zuppa Toscana, and Chili by the quart for a suggested donation of $12 each. You can place and pay for your order after the service.

VBS Volunteer Info Meeting
Have you ever thought about serving at VBS? Or maybe you’ve helped before and would love to be part of it again.
We’re having a VBS Volunteer Info Meeting on Saturday, February 21 at 10am. This meeting is for anyone interested in helping during VBS week or behind the scenes.
You’ll hear about this year’s theme, learn about the different volunteer roles, and have a chance to sign up for where you’d like to serve. Light breakfast will be provided, and we’d love to have you join us. Please click the link below if you plan to attend.

Resurrection Weekend!
As we look ahead to Resurrection Day weekend, we want to let you know about a couple of special services coming up.
First, we’ll gather for our Good Friday service on Friday, April 3 at 7pm. This will be a family service with no childcare, as we come together to remember what Christ has done for us on the cross.
Then on Sunday, April 5, we’ll celebrate Resurrection Day with three services this year — at 7am, 9am, and 11am. This is the first time we’ve offered three services, and Seedlings & Middle School Sunday school will be available during the 9 and 11am services.
Since Resurrection Day is a time when many guests join us, we want to be ready to welcome them well. If Roots is your home church, would you prayerfully consider attending the 7am service? That helps create space at the 9 and 11 services for guests and visiting families. And if you’re able, you might even attend at 7 and then serve at one of the later services.
We’re really looking forward to celebrating the Resurrection together!

Also related to Resurrection Day, we again are so thankful for the opportunity to serve our community through our Resurrection Day Meal Boxes.
These boxes include everything needed for a Resurrection Day dinner. You can sign up to receive a meal box yourself or request one for someone you know who could be blessed by it. If you’re signing up someone outside of Roots, we do ask that you plan to meet them here at pickup so you can make that personal connection.

Ohana Fun Night - March 27
Mark your calendars for our next Ohana Night on Friday, March 27, from 6 to 9pm. We’re shifting Ohana - our churchwide potluck - to a few Friday nights this year, and we’re looking forward to gathering as a church family.
We’ll share more details soon about what the church will provide, and we’ll ask you to bring a side or dessert to share. We’ll also plan something fun for the evening, like a movie or game night. We hope you’ll join us!

Youth Group Auction - April 25
And here is another event to mark on your calendar... On the evening of Saturday, April 25th, we are hosting our first ever Youth Group Auction! No, we are not auctioning off youth (sorry parents) BUT we are hosting this fundraiser to help support our youth as they attend mission trips, youth camps, winter retreats (which is where some of our HS youth are at right now!) and more!
We are looking for items, services or experiences to auction off. If you have something you might be interested in donating, please grab a donation form off of Michelle's desk. The orange forms are for donated goods or items and the green forms are for services or experiences. If you have any questions at all, ask Matt. Just don't ask him today because he's not here.

VBS Save the Date!
We’re excited to announce the dates for this year’s Vacation Bible School—July 13 through 17. Our theme is Tropical Trek, and it’s going to be an incredible week of fun, faith, and adventure for our kids.

Sunday Morning Prayer
We have a group that gathers for prayer every Sunday morning before first service - and everyone is welcome. We meet at 8am in the Doorkeepers Room in the Commons, and it’s simply a time to pray together for our church, for the morning services, and for specific needs within our church family. If you’d like to come early and spend time praying with others, we’d love to have you.
Missions Prayer
Just a reminder that we gather for Missions Prayer on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month at 7pm. This is a special time for us to come together and pray for our missionaries in Kosovo and Korea, and for the safe house in Nepal. We’d love for you to join us this Thursday, Feb 5
