At Roots Fellowship you will find real people dedicated to following Jesus Christ. From the moment you walk up to the building you can expect…
A Welcome – A heartfelt greeting is part of what makes a body a family. Expect to be noticed. Expect people to welcome you in love. If you have any questions just ask…let us help you get settled and comfortable.
Hot Coffee – There’s nothing like the smell of good coffee (or tea) to warm you up.
Worship– We’re told in Word to worship in spirit and truth…
Music– We love music. We use music as a form of worship to show the Lord how much we love and honor Him.
Truth– The Word directs us to speak the truth in love. The Bible is God’s truth. At Roots we seek the Lord through understanding and applying His truth to our lives. We teach expositionally through the Word. Simply teaching the Word simply. As we go through the Word we pray that God’s Word will go through us and that His Spirit will establish it in our hearts and lives.
What to Wear –Our only dress code is that you wear clothes. Come in what is appropriate and comfortable. For some that is coat and tie and others, jeans and t-shirt.
Environment– An atmosphere where friendships and relationships can both form and deepen. A place where family gather to share a love and joy that can only come from knowing God.
Communion – We celebrate communion monthly to remember the Lord’s sacrifice for our sins.
Baptism– Several times throughout the year we offer baptisms to those wanting to proclaim Jesus as their Lord and Savior. If this is something you are interested in or have questions about, please contact the church office.
Ohana – We often gather after church for a potluck meal and fellowship with an event we call “Ohana.” Ohana means “family” and that is the focus of these gatherings. A time for fellowship that forms friendships and strengthens the church body. Visit the Events tab to see when the next Ohana is happening.
